# 3. BIZA Block Producer Voting Guide

**Block Producer Rewards**

BIZA will have 21 active Block Producers and around 150–175 standby Block Producers. Active Block Producers earn a 0.25% reward per block they produce, and all Block Producers earn a 0.75% reward based on the number of votes they receive.

**Voting Mechanics**

Each staked BIZA token can be used to vote for up to 30 Block Producer candidates, with each token providing one vote per candidate. Votes are weighted based on the total number of staked tokens, and the 21 candidates with the most votes will become the active Block Producers. Voting is continuous, with results recalculated approximately every two minutes, and tokens are locked for three days after being unstaked.

**Voting Process**

Voting for BPs can be done via a command line interface or community-developed websites. Users should ensure they use their Active key for voting to secure their funds.

**Block Reward Policy**

BIZA prohibits Block Producers from engaging in financial relationships with token holders in exchange for votes. This is enforced through the network’s constitution, and a whistleblower process is planned to ensure compliance with this policy.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://amaxg.gitbook.io/whitepaper-eng/block-producer-validator/3.-biza-block-producer-voting-guide.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
