We are currently working with an Internet environment called Web 2.0 which changed the way of communication through innovative services such as social network services and e-commerce platforms. the way of communication between people and the beneficiaries & providers of information has changed completely. Through this, a lot of them have easier access to goods and services in their real lives, and a peer-to-peer communication is possible globally. However, the existence of intermediaries in this Web 2.0 internet environment who cannot be trusted and barely have an acquaintance. A few platforms had built a ground-breaking a peer-to-peer economy to provide valuable content but most Web 2.0 based internet services have a limit of just collecting customer’s data and the real meaning of a peer-to-peer transactions.

The advent of the Web 3.0 era

In this context, blockchain based Web 3.0 will be the power wheel of the next generation of Internet environments. Blockchain technology which will be the base of Web 3.0 and it will enable the real meaning a peer-to-peer transaction, the one without any need of intermediaries, and Bitcoin made sure the realization of the transaction for the last few years. Bitcoin is used as a peer-to-peer currency that can be used without a bank or bank teller, and the blockchain technology that realized Bitcoin is being applied throughout the industry.A true peer-to-peer economy that excludes intermediaries such as car sharing without Uber, home sharing without Airbnb, and social media without Facebook or Twitter is coming into our lives.
